Why should I change to LED?
You can save around 90% on your electricity costs by changing to LED bulbs. At a time when electricity rates are surging upwards this is a huge saving. LED lamps and products do cost a little more than traditional lighting, but they will last on average for 15 years or more. They also produce very little heat and are far kinder to the environment.
Are they safe?
All of our products are CE & RoHS certified, and comply with all safety standards required for sale in Europe. We only use brand name LEDs sourced from official suppliers. We do not use generic or grey market components.
What is an LED?
LEDs are found all over the home and office – a tiny piece of electronics the size of a pin head which lights up. LED stands for “light emitting diode”, a semiconductor device that gives visible light when electrical current is passed through it.
How long do LEDs last for?
LED’s last much longer than traditional lights, normally for up to 30,000 hours. All Perfect LED products are guaranteed for 2 years. This guarantee shows, how much confidence we have in the build quality of our lighting units.
LED Advantages
LEDs are more efficient than both incandescent and fluorescent lighting, emitting more light per watt of electricity. Fluorescent lamps contain poisonous mercury vapor, whereas LEDs are safe to use and dispose of. Incandescent and fluorescent lamps have shorter lifetimes and limitations in extreme temperatures, LEDs however are unaffected by hot and cold.

Why are some products marked as Premium?
Our premium products combine specialised design and materials from USA/Japan/Taiwan, these unique items focus on appearance, design and the most advanced LED components. They offer our customers a chance to own a truly state-of-the-art LED product.
What’s the difference between Warm White and Cool White?
Cool white is a cold, stark white with a tinge of blue. Warm white is a yellow tinged white, very like traditional incandescent bulbs. Both options give out excellent light for all purposes, and the choice of colour is down to your personal taste.
Are LEDs more expensive than traditional lighting?
The initial cost to change can seem expensive, but please factor in the electricity savings and the life expectancy of the bulb. It won’t be long before you’ve recouped your initial outlay.
Are they difficult to fit?
Perfect LED products are easily retro-fitted into existing light fittings. Our lighting solutions are genuine plug-and-play devices and can be put in place in seconds.
Can they be dimmed?
Dimmer switches can be used with many of our products, please see the product specifications for more information.
